The ADSL Equipments are tested for their interoperability with different types of DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) installed throughout the UAE.

The UAELAB conducts numerous testing such as ADSL link stability and Reach Test in which the reach capability of the Equipment is evaluated. The tests are conducted on different operating systems (Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP) with various protocols as well (RFC 2364 and RFC 2516).
