The following is the preparation list which the suppliers need to include when submitting for Type Approval

1.      Completed and signed the application form

2.      Prepare applicable Evaluation Fee

3.      Company Standard Documents (Trade License, Chamber of Commerce, Municipality, etc.)

4.      Two samples of the Unit with all accessories

5.      Special Testing cable / Interface (if required).

6.      Full technical documentation covering methods of installation, configuration, use, and maintenance.

7.      Provide one of the following:

a.      Compliance certification

b.      Test report by an accredited test lab

c.      Self declaration in accordance with the European R&TTE directives

8.      List of all the features supported by the product.

9.      Agency/Distribution confirmation from the manufacturer.

Additional Technology Requirement for GSM

1.      Special Testing cable, fixture, or accessories (to be provided by the manufacturer), for testing the electrical parameters of the Handset

2.      Data/Fax Cable plus the driver software for the Handset modem, in addition to a LAPTOP loaded with relevant application software (applicable if Data / Fax is available).

3.      The Handset shall support (EGSM) extended GSM band

Additional Technology Requirement for WLAN

1.      The following must be provided (If Required):

a.      Special Testing cable/interface, fixture, and accessories of the Unite

b.      Any hardware required to conduct the testing (i.e. additional fixtures, Laptop, Antennas, etc)

2.      List of all the features supported by the product.

Note: All the above shall be available within a maximum of two weeks from the date of submission. In case if any of the above items was not submitted within the two weeks period, the application will be declined, and the submitted charges will not be refunded.
