Site Approval certification tests the end-user individual telecommunication equipment with the Etisalat Network.

The products that require Site Approvals are:

1. PABX Systems
2. PRI connections (E1)
3. Any Product that does not have Permit.

A site specific Approved Product is a permanent authorization valid for the lifetime* of the telecommunication connection and is only applicable for the premises at which the equipment or connection is installed. If the system is moved from one location to another a new (free of charge) site-specific approval shall be required.

*Changes or upgrades to the PABX hardware or software after the site specific approval has been issued will require the PABX to be re-submitted for Type Approval.

The Site Approvals are given to a specific customer (rather than an equipment supplier/vendor) to connect a specific system on a particular site.

Site Approval Application are available at your nearest Etisalat Office.

The Etisalat office, where you have submitted the Site Approval application documents, will advise you if your request has been approved.
